And Then There Were 19 More Pears

Slow to get updated... lots of leveling done and such, but needed to split this up as there's 19 pear finds to add. So the pear finds now, the rest in another entry.

Willowvine Forest - First time hunting here. 1.5 hours and wasn't close to finishing the full map. Finally stumbled on it in the few pieces of cotton there.





Hurquin - Half an hour of searching took me to the smaller island...





Kilaran Field - I laughed... 4 minutes to find it... IN THE WHITE ASIATIC LILLY HARV DAILY SPOT! Hahaha.





Desert Pines - Coal Cave map (secret sapphire cave) - Knowing your maps is important... you know how to get to the secret sappire cave on the same map as the dp coal cave, right? ;-)





Ruins of Tirnym - Another 4-minute find, RoT happened to be hit on early this time, and found it after only a couple harvs.





White Stone - Vermor Castle - Another where knowing the maps was important... this time I didn't. Neither did Raistlin, but he came to help find this one room that I'd forgotten about. However, he didn't know I was still pear hunting. So the chat in this image is particularly funny. (I of course gave him half-off a pear for helping find that, hehe.)





Idalaron - Mine - 21 minutes, most of which was spent finding the right map. Had only barely started checking the harvs.





Kusamura Jungle - Secret Insides - Another secret spot bore a pear. This one not as well-kept a secret of course, since it leads to one of the double-FCW spawns.





Melinis - Cave - The camera angle is as it is because spots like this may have several ores/minerals hidden inside the wall that can't be seen from normal viewing angles. 1 1/4 hour to find as I checked all the other caves before finally getting to this one.





Isle of the Forgotten - Insides - One of the rare maps where in-house items can be harvested.





Aeth Aelfan - Black Dragon cave - No harvs in with the dragon itself, but plenty leading to it.





Kilaran Field - Again. Such a light map that if it's here, it's almost always found quickly.





Irsis - If there's anything to hate about hunting on this map, it's spots like the one in the screenshot. Very difficult to determine where one harv starts and one stops when they're all bunched up like this.





Valley of the Dwarves - As usual, several people hunting once they saw me and malameo running around there. I lucked out and got it.





South Redmoon - An "oh gods" moment when it's determined to be on this map due to the overwhelming number of dandelions and various mushrooms everywhere.





Irsis - Again...





Willowvine Forest - Tit Cave - Thanks to Vrumfondel for sitting there watching to ensure noone else stole muh pear. ;-) Okay, I think he was afk here.





Willowvine Forest - Tit Cave - Again. This time in the iron near the KJ exit.





Isle of the Forgotten - ACW Cave - After checking everything else, even the dvarium room(!), I finally mustered up the courage. Both ACWs continued to hang in this harv spot, had to wait and run around a bit till they finally left.

Busy, Busy, Busy, Occupado, Pear.

Despite it having been a while since last post, not really much to write about. Been busy for a while now, so EL took a back seat.

Doesn't mean nothing got done though. AFK-harving and such.

Managed to get one level, though that was more from book reading...

You advanced to level 81 of manufacturing!

But primarily just been working on storage stock for later use, and of course pear runs when I've had the time to hunt them.

Bot Return

One thing that is  being worked on is getting gc stocked and some base stuff to sell for the return of my bot, IWannaRock. He's been out of the game since I started a 6-month time away last year, and low real-life funds had kept me from bringing him back until now.

At this point, just waiting for my money to transfer into my PayPal account, and then I can make an order to get him back where he belongs, in MM near the Naralik exit.

Got prices set up, list of stuff to put on him, and so on. Just a matter of getting him paid for and transfer the stuff to him.





As for the pears... 14 finds since last post, including a surprise or two.




Trassian - Limited harvables, but this "center" area was the last place to check.




Idaloran - Mine - Several unreachables in here, and lots of running around to get to each harvest spot. Fortunately didn't get to the point of having to harvest tin.




North Redmoon - I've spent over an hour searching this map before due to lots of harvables, many of them of the slower harv nature. Lucked out and found it pretty quickly this time, though.




Emerald Valley Trade Route - A regularly frequented map like this tends to lead to more people hunting. People see me or malameo checking stuff at beginning of game day and start checking themselves. There were at least 5 people searching when I got this one.




Naralik - This one was a surprise, and actually took only 2 minutes to find. I'd been away the first part of the day. In Naralik as I tend to be, I returned to EL and clicked a finder to see if the pear was still available. It was, and it was on this map even. Two minutes of hunting and I had it. Apparently noone else was looking that day as it was incredibly simple to find.




Irsis - Flowers around the houses in the city make this map a bit annoying, as they're so bunched up in some places that it's hard to see which ones need to be checked as you progress through them. Turned out to just be in the veggie patch this time though.




Iscalrith - Another quick found out of luck. The difficulties of this map are both the random branches everywhere, and a lot of harvs hidden underneath trees.




Emerald Valley Trade Route (again) - Checked the overwhelming majority of the map this time only to find it in the veggie patch here as well. Recall at least 3 others were also hunting this time.




Emerald Valley - Mine - Next day it moved down into the mine. Lots of "hidden" harvs in here, but in this case you can see the emeralds that it turned out to be in.




South Redmoon - This was truly lucky finding it only 5 minutes into the game day. SRM is chock full of various shrooms and dandelions heavily spread out and slow to harv, not to mention loads of random branches.




Aeth Aelfan - Wyrmgoth Cave - I think 3rd time I found it here. Why the sword bag? I thought I'd checked everything except the wolfram, went to get swords and returned. On the way to the wolfram, I realized I hadn't checked these quartz that were just north of the wolf. The pear turned out to be in them, so no swords end up being used.




North Redmoon (again) - Yet another lucky quick find considering how long this map can possibly take.




Hurquin - Insides - Map primary harv areas are the hobgob cave and the secret tree. It turned out to not be in either. I was about to leave it as unharvable when it crossed my mind to check all the various huts on the map as well. While most are unharvable stuff, it turned out a few actually were harvestable, and the pear turned out to be in one of them. Very surprised at that.





Bethel - Feros Cave - Lots to harv-check here, and there's also the risk that it's in the large PK cave which also shares this map, and is nasty to check harv-wise. Fortunately it was just in the quartz.
